New study and exam regulations (SPO) 2025

Starting in the 2025/26 winter semester, new study and exam regulations (SPO) will apply to the Master's program in Bioengineering. The SPO applies to all persons who

• who are newly enrolled in the winter semester 25/26
• have changed their study and examination regulations upon request. 
  (The application form will be available shortly.)

Expiring modules in the study and exam regulations (SPO) 2016

• Biotechnological Production: 
  The exam will still be offered to those who have passed the seminar.
  Alternatively, the module Process and Plant Design in Biotechnology can be taken in the winter semester.
• The module Biopharmaceutical Purification Processes is part of a specialization subject in the new study regulations. Participation is still possible.
• The module Bioprocess Development will be offered in the bachelor's program in the future. Participation is still possible for students in the SPO 2016.

In the specialization area, 2–4 specializations can be elected, 10–20 CP each, for a total of 40 CP.
