Activities for international and interculturally interested students

You are new in Karlsruhe and want to get to know your international fellow students better, you are looking for a study group or just want to make new contacts? Then this is the right place for you! I organize a voluntary social program for international and interculturally interested students.
Cultural Onboarding: Welcome event for new students. This is the right place for you if you have just started your studies at KIT and want to get to know your international fellow students.
Multikulti Lunch with Mareike: You like to look beyond your own nose? Then come to the Multikulti Lunch and try the delicacies of other countries! Twice a month there is a multicultural lunch with Mareike, she is the coordinator for international affairs at the faculty. When the weather is nice, we picnic in the castle garden or we go to a nearby café together.
Open tea/coffee hour: If you have general questions about life in Karlsruhe, are looking for a doctor or want to buy a bike at a reasonable price, then come to the open tea/coffee hour. I'll help you out, plus there's free tea, coffee, cookies and muffins.
Find a study group: Next exam coming up and still looking for a study group? Here you will find one. Write me a message and I will support you in your search for a study group.
If you are interested or have any questions or suggestions, please write to mareike.schroeterδkit.edu.
Exact info about activities and dates will be announced in time here on the website and on Instagram kit_chemieingenieurwesen. There is also a WhatsApp group and soon a newsletter. To join the WhatsApp group, please join the ILIAS course CIW Internationales - here is the link to the ILIAS course - or contact me briefly by mail.

Wandergruppe privat
Wandergruppe

You want to do some sports, like to be out in the fresh air and want to get to know the region as well as your fellow students better? Then put on your hiking boots and come out into nature with me! Once a semester I offer a day hike in the northern Black Forest and show you the closer surroundings of Karlsruhe.

You don't have to be a professional hiker to join the hike, but you should have a good basic condition and comfortable shoes with a good tread. If you are interested, please fill out the form below. If there are enough registrations, I will send a circular email to coordinate a date.
