The habilitation recognises special qualifications in research and teaching, and on this basis, authorisation to teach (venia legendi) is granted.

If you are considering undertaking a habilitation at the KIT Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, please notify your intention at an early stage and seek advice regarding the complex and lengthy procedure.

Further information can be found in the habilitation regulations.
